Plants have feelings too! Well…. not exactly, but they are alive, and with life, there’s always the risk of death. While we do our absolute best to ensure safe passage, it is not always the case that they arrive happy and healthy. The Wetplants team offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all orders by covering the cost to add shipping protection to your order - Route.
If you accept your plants on the first delivery attempt and find that they did not survive the shipment, please take a photo of the deceased plants in their original packaging within 12 hours of delivery, and, submit a claim by clicking HERE. Please have the email you completed the purchase with and your order number ready. When prompted, please select damaged as your reason.
Currently, we are only shipping Monday - Wednesday and sometimes Thursday at our discretion. In the rare event of extremely hot, extremely cold, or simply extreme weather in your location or ours, we reserve the right to delay shipping to ensure your plants will arrive safe and sound. At this time, we only sell to the contiguous United States.Since we are shipping a live product, we are limited in the number of weekly orders that our team can process. If you place your order by Midnight on Wednesday, it will ship the following week. Orders placed Thursday - Wednesday will ship the following week.
In rare circumstances, we may not have the exact plant you ordered. This may be because we didn’t get as many as we were promised or the specific plant is not at a level which we feel comfortable shipping. In these cases, we will substitute the plant with a similar plant of equal or greater value. If you would prefer a refund to a substitution, please write “no substitutions” in the Order Notes box of your shopping cart or email us at email@example.com.
We ship using FedEx and UPS to insure the arrival of healthy plants. Please do not provide a PO Box for delivery as they do not accept packages from FedEx and UPS. We do not profit from shipping. We pride ourselves on offering quality plants at great prices.
Yikes, please send us an email to confirm your order address. If you provided the incorrect address, we will do our best to work with you to ship out a new order. If your package is marked delivered and is not there, please file a lost claim HERE. Please have the email you placed your order with and order # ready.
We recommend washing all plants prior to adding them to your tank. We regularly perform quality checks prior to shipping plants! However, we cannot guarantee our plants to be snail free. If you do not want to risk snails, please consider purchasing tissue culture aquatic plants or quarantining and cleaning new plants prior to adding them in your aquarium. When dealing with aquatic plants, we ask that you remember that snails are a natural part of the environment :)
Many of the plants available online originate from the same US distributors. Often the plants are picked at a nursery and shipped to a wholesaler. The wholesaler repacks the plants and sends them on to the retailer who then sends them to you. Due to our location and close relationship with a major US distributor we can pick and send your plants right from the distributor’s supply. This process assures higher quality plants as there is less transport time between the nursery and your loving hands. Additionally, it allows for extremely competitive pricing.
We do not allow the use of multiple discounts or shipping codes. We ask that you select the one that benefits the order most.
