Not what I ordered and has parasites

Diffantly not fairy moss it was duckweed with little bits of the fair moss in it. Was excited to get it my koi pond really needed plants for coverage. Added half of my order to notice the bag was coated with millions of leeches! Now I have to quartine my koi and drain my pond to make sure I'm leech free. The plants were healthy just disappointed it wasn't what I ordered and that it had leeches. They said it wouldn't be snail free so I was excepting the snails not the leeches. Very frustrating that I have to make sure all my fish and everything will be okay now and make sure everything is clean.

I ordered the fairy moss was excited to get it it looked healthy except it was duckweed with bits of fairy moss in it so diffantly not what I ordered very disappointing. Then after adding half the duckweed to my koi pond I noticed tiny brown worm like things that look like leeches . I know they said it wouldn't be snail free which is fine with me cause I could use snails but diffantly could live without the damn leeches. Now I have to quartine my fish and make sure that my whole pond is leech free. Don't buy if you don't want leeches but if you do want them go ahead and get it the plant itself is healthy.

Fairy moss

I like this way better than duckweed. It is lovely, and doesn’t cover the aquarium surface nearly as fast. It doesn’t seem to suffer allelopathy to red root floater or water spangles. I’d suggest not mixing it with faster growing floaters, though, since it may not keep up.

Healthy plant, not all azolla though

I got way more than I expected with the 2 oz portion, and it was in great shape. However, actual azolla only seemed to account for maybe 50% of what I got - the rest is very clearly duckweed, with what seemed to be a few bits of baby water lettuce. Not really much of a problem in a pond of course, but I just really don't want to have to deal with duckweed taking over my aquarium. I torn whether or not I recommend this product, cause it's good stuff, it's just not all the stuff I ordered!
