Lilaeopsis mauritiana is a very narrow plant with grass-like leaves and is very suitable to aquascaping. It is very adaptable as ground cover and demands less light than Lilaeopsis brasiliensis. The plants height and distance between its leaves depend on the light intensity. The more light it gets, the lower the plant and the denser the leaves. The runners spread round the aquarium.
