Bring classic, natural beauty to your aquarium with Vallisneria Italian, also known as Italian Vallisneria or Straight Vallisneria. This hardy background plant features long, ribbon-like leaves that sway gracefully in the water, creating a lush, flowing effect that fish and shrimp love to swim through. Each bunch includes 3-4 healthy plants, ideal for adding instant greenery and vertical movement to your aquascape.
Vallisneria Italian is one of the most reliable aquarium plants available. It thrives in a wide range of conditions, making it an excellent choice for beginners or anyone looking for a low-maintenance oxygenator. Once established, it spreads easily by runners, forming a dense, vibrant underwater forest that helps absorb excess nutrients and improve water quality.

Hitchhiker Warning
We recommend cleaning all plants before adding them to your tank. We regularly perform quality checks prior to shipping plants. However, we cannot guarantee our plants to be snail or hitchhiker-free. If you do not want to risk snails, please consider rinsing plants, conducting a bleach dip, or quarantining plants prior to adding them in your aquarium. Snails are a natural part of working with live plants.
